A ventilation upgrade is one of the few facilities decisions with a published return measured in orders of magnitude. It is also one of the only ones nobody can currently defend with data from their own building. That is the gap a Fleet deployment closes.

The case

MacNaughton et al. (2015) estimated that doubling outdoor air ventilation rates costs under $40 per person per year and returns roughly $6,500 per person per year in productivity. We are not going to pretend that estimate is precise. We are going to point out that it is two orders of magnitude, and that you currently have no measurement at all with which to argue either way.

The pilot

Ninety days, one floor, one number at the end.

We would rather you started with a measurement than a purchase order. The pilot is designed to produce a result your facilities team can act on even if you never buy a Fleet deployment.

  1. 01Week 1

    Siting survey

    We map your floor against occupancy and supply-air layout, and place nodes where the readings will actually be diagnostic — not where the power sockets happen to be. Remote for a single floor, on-site above that.

  2. 02Weeks 2–3

    Baseline fortnight

    Ten or more meshed Pro nodes log every zone at one-minute resolution with no intervention at all. You find out what your building actually does at 3pm on a Wednesday in a full meeting room.

  3. 03Weeks 4–10

    Intervention

    We work with your facilities team on the specific changes the data supports — supply rates, scheduling, room capacity caps, or in most cases simply a door policy. Then we measure the same zones again.

  4. 04Weeks 11–13

    The report

    Before and after, per zone, benchmarked against anonymised comparable buildings, with the ventilation cost of each change costed against the published productivity estimates. Yours to keep whether or not you proceed.
